I would announce the bad news by organizing a formal meeting with all the employees. I would inform all the employees that there would have to be 400 employees laid off within three days because of trying to save the company to come out of a situation of financial crisis. If these employees would not be laid off, it would be a burden for the company. The company would fall into heavy debt and would not be able to realize profits as it had been doing in the past years of operations.
